If you don’t write back to someone’s text, that automatically means you don’t care and you’ve given up on them. If you try to keep a 3000 mile friendship alive even after they threw it away multiple times, it doesn’t seem to matter. They received endless forgiveness and multiple chances, but the one time they think you’re moving on, it’s all your fault. Even if you never said anything to them about the friendship and the path it’s going on. This seems so unbalanced after the countless times you could’ve scolded them for giving up on it, but didn’t. Is this the world we live in now? We should be blessed by technology because it lets us have friends that span the country. Instead, it only seems to cause problems. It’s not that hard, but it’s not that easy to have a technological friendship. Patience and effort are key.
